TIE Bombers were used by the Galactic Empire in the first line of attack to weaken large objects both in space and on the ground. One of the pods carried cockpit for the pilot and was equipped with a pair of laser cannons. The other one served as an ordnance bay for the ammo including bombs and homing missiles.
